hello

Meet and drink | March social and networking event

We love a good party at KindredHQ! And we love to connect people together. Throughout the year we hold networking events, pop up coworking and lots of other opportunities to meet other like minded freelancers and freespirits in London.

This is an informal evening of drinks and networking and this month, we’re at the much acclaimed Ye Olde Mitre pub in the heart of Hatten Garden and London’s Clerkenwell district.

Ye_Old_Mitre__044_5705This pub is really rather special, built in 1546 and extended in 1782. Henry VIII was married in St.Ethelredas next door and his daughter, Queen Elizabeth, is said to have danced around the cherry tree at our door with Sir Christopher Hatton. We’ve got a nice, large and not too noisy section of the pub upstairs.

The evening gives us a chance to meet each other over drinks. It’s quite simple really, just RSVP, turn up and we’ll help you make connections on the evening.

This is a great way to get familiar with KindredHQ and learn more about what we are about. We thoroughly recommend searching through the past events as well, to get a flavour.

In the meantime, if you have any queries about our group then please do not hesitate to contact us and find out more about our community of freelancers and independents at Kindredhq.com

Who is Alex Butler

Hello, I'm Alex Butler and I founded the KindredHQ community and blog back in 2011 after I re-started a freelance career. I LOVE freelancing and I wouldn't swop the freedom, control and joy of working for myself for anything. But I realised how much I missed the company and energy of other people - of having a team around me. So, I got a few people together one day with our laptops, a jar of coffee and some jelly babies and we sat and worked together one afternoon. We've been doing that every week in London, UK since then! I am still 100% freelance and I like to share the everyday highs and lows of being a freelancer here on the blog.
